Education
Substance abuse education is important for understanding the many aspects of how and why substances are abused; warning signs of addiction, how alcohol and drugs affect the mind and body, and exploring the consequences that addiction can have on one’s physical and mental health, family, relationships, and other areas of functioning.
Continuing Care
Continuing care options are designed to allow a person to transition gradually out of residential or Intensive Outpatient services while ensuring that they have the support needed to build upon the progress they have already made. A gradual return to the individual’s everyday life provides the best possible chance of maintaining one’s personal recovery efforts.
